Steps to switch after app deactivation:
Note: These steps are only required if you missed the deadline to switch and your Amazon by Codisto app has been discontinued.
If your Amazon Codisto app is still functioning, please refer to this guide to switch.
If you did not switch to Shopify Marketplace Connect before the sunset (deactivation) date, it's not too late! Switching is still easy and your information and data will automatically transfer.
It's important to switch as soon as possible to minimize how long your integration is offline, reducing the number of orders the require manual rectification because your Amazon by Codisto app is no longer operational and your integrations are inactive.
- Navigate to your Amazon by Codisto app in Shopify and click “Switch now” on the app home screen, and then “Confirm” when prompted
- You will be redirected to the install page for Shopify Marketplace Connect. Click “Install app”. Then click "Install" on the confirmation page.
Your settings and data will automatically transfer to the new app and your integration will reactivate. Plus, your Amazon by Codisto app will automatically uninstall.
Update order imports (Optional):
If you received Amazon orders while your integration was inactive, you will need to manually import them into shopify, which can be done in bulk.
- Navigate to your "Marketplace Connect" app (located in the "App" section) in Shopify
- Click on the "Orders" section
- Check for orders where the Import status is "Not imported"
- Select all orders you wish to import into Shopify by clicking on the associated checkbox or selecting all
- Click the "Import" button, and then the "Update" button on the very top row of the table
- Click "Save"
