We've added a new listing mode called Offer Only in Marketplace Connect.
When you open a product and scroll down to the Send listing details section (or view the bulk grid), you'll now see two options: Publish listing details and Offer only
Publish listing details is the original default behaviour. When this is selected, we make Walmart Item API calls with all of your product data — title, description, brand, images, bullets, and any additional category-specific attributes.
Offer only is the new lightweight mode. With this selected, we only sync price, inventory, and shipping details to Walmart.
If a merchant enables a product without a matching catalog item on Walmart it will trigger a new listing creation.
This feature is for merchants that have other processes in place for catalog management, but want to take advantage of Marketplace Connect's real time sync of price/inventory, and have orders created in Shopify.
