How to List on Target Plus using Bulk Edit Mode
In this article, we will explore the process of creating and listing offers on Target using Bulk Edit mode.
All default Shopify fields (images, titles, descriptions, prices, inventory etc) are automatically mapped in this way upon install. Mapping allows merchants to further consolidate their Target catalog management within Shopify admin.
Please note: In order to surface category-specific listing fields, the seller must first assign a Target category in the app. Category-specific fields will then become available in Mapping
mode.
How to use Bulk Edit Mode
The Bulk Edit mode makes it easy to list or edit multiple products on Target.
Navigate to the Listings menu and select Bulk Edit.
Rows
Each row represents a single product in your catalog. Scroll the grid vertically to see all products.
Your Shopify Catalog is on the left and field columns to the right
Columns & Filters
Each column represents a different Target field for your products. Scroll the grid horizontally to view additional settings.
Bulk edit is activated when 2 or more selections are made, using the check boxes on the left hand side.
For changes to the entire catalog select the top check box
If an active filter is applied, only filtered products will be selected
You can also add additional columns from the column chooser (as shown below)
It is recommended that the seller also use the filters to filter out same/same products e.g, a seller might filter the bulk editor based on product titles that contain “dress” to configure all dress SKUs in bulk
Sellers are also encouraged to visit “Mapping mode before manually adding values in-app. Most sellers likely have several listing fields that already exist in custom Shopify metafields They just need to map 1:1 in the Marketplace Connect app to prevent the need to enter manually in-app.
